The Paddlesport Leader is designed to get you out leading paddlers on sheltered lochs and slow moving rivers. From your chosen craft, you'll be able to lead a mixed fleet of up to eight boats.
This award is perfect for those working in clubs and centres, and works really well with a Paddlesport Instructor Award.
Training for this award can be done informally or through the official British Canoeing course, both of which we offer.
Assessments can be done on a 1 to 1 basis.

The Paddlesport Touring Leader is designed to get you out leading paddlers on more open lochs and moving rivers up to grade 2. From your chosen craft, you'll be able to lead a mixed fleet of up to eight boats.
This award is perfect for those working in clubs and centres, and works really well with a Paddlesport Instructor Award.
Training for this award can be done informally or through the official British Canoeing course, both of which we offer.
Assessments can be done on a 1 to 1 basis.

The Open Canoe Leader is designed to get you out leading paddlers on open water venues in canoe, you'll be able to lead up to six boats.
This award is perfect for those leading in clubs or centres, and works really well either as a stand alone award or with a coaching/instructor award.
Training for this award is an official British Canoeing course over two days with up to 6 candidates.
Assessments are done with a minimum of 2 candidates and a maximum of 8.
