The Paddlesport Leader course is tailored to prepare you for leading paddlers on sheltered lochs and slow-moving rivers, so we'll be based in the Trossachs for this official British Canoeing Awarding Body training course. 

We will explore everything from leadership philosophy and methodology to venue selection and risk management, along with the other skills required to lead a mixed fleet of up to eight boats from your chosen craft. Regarding equipment, we can assist you in equipping yourself with specialist gear, but you will need to provide your own personal paddling clothing. 

The Trossachs' focus on the journey aligns perfectly with this award, making it ideal for individuals working in clubs, centres, and organisations. It also complements a Paddlesport Instructor Award effectively, allowing you to expand your remit and lead enjoyable journeys.
